ABB opens new Customer Experience Center in Bucharest

ABB Romania has opened its new Customer Experience Center in Bucharest, a state-of-the-art space designed to immerse visitors in the future of Electrification, Automation, Energy Efficiency and Motion. The center reflects ABB’s commitment to supporting customers and partners with intelligent solutions that span residential, commercial and industrial applications.

The center offers a practical journey through ABB’s latest innovations, including smart building automation, low and medium voltage distribution, and EV charging infrastructure. From elegant residential switches to advanced digital power management technologies, it showcases ABB’s customer-centric approach and digital leadership in smart and sustainable electrical solutions.

A Hub for Innovation, Collaboration and Design

Dedicated to ABB’s partners, customers and industry professionals, the Center allows visitors to experience how ABB technologies can be integrated into any project – from architectural design to complex industrial applications. Every product is designed to combine form and function, blending seamlessly with its environment or delivering robust performance in demanding conditions.

The Bucharest Center features live demonstrations, physical product displays, system integrations and digital tools that show ABB solutions working together – from lighting, shading, air conditioning to access control. The Center highlights how ABB technologies can reduce energy consumption, cut costs and enhance comfort, while supporting sustainability goals.

Alongside advanced power distribution systems, the Center also features ABB Motion innovations that help industries reduce CO₂ emissions and achieve up to 80 percent energy savings through high efficiency motors and variable speed drives.

The Experience Center will host workshops, seminars, training sessions, and certification programs, creating a hub for knowledge sharing and professional development that strengthens local expertise and collaboration across industries.

ABB operates in Romania across all four of its global businesses: Electrification, Robotics & Discreet Automation, Motion and Process Automation. ABB has had a local presence since 1992 and today employs around 100 people in the country.
