“In the context of the accelerated expansion of Parapet’s activities on both local and international markets and the diversification of its business lines, the appointment of Roxana Gureanu as CEO represents a natural organizational step toward strengthening the company’s operational management and coordinating a sustainable growth strategy. In the past year alone, Parapet has nearly quadrupled its turnover and number of employees. This dynamic requires a stronger management structure to support the company’s strategic direction and the efficient management of our business lines. I welcome her to the team and am confident that her experience in the financial sector and in leading complex organizations will be a significant advantage for the next stage of Parapet’s development,” said Andrada Moldovan, Executive Chairman of Parapet.
Previously, Roxana Gureanu held the position of CFO at Sparking Capital and Managing Director of Habau Romania, part of the Habau Group, where she coordinated regional operations in Romania as well as in Serbia, Bulgaria, and the Republic of Moldova. She has been involved in major energy infrastructure projects in the Black Sea region, including within the RePowerEU initiative. She holds an Executive MBA from WU Executive Academy Vienna and a Master of Arts in Board Practice and Directorship from Henley Business School, being also a certified board member.
“I am delighted to join the Parapet team, a company that has already demonstrated that a bold vision, supported by hard work and dedicated people, can generate remarkable results in the renewable energy industry. I bring with me more than two decades of experience in the financial and operational coordination of complex projects in the energy and national infrastructure sectors. Together with the team and the company’s founders, we aim to strengthen our presence in Romania, Germany, and Italy, develop strong partnerships, and deliver projects that matter—for our clients, for the communities where we operate, and for Europe’s energy transition. I firmly believe that renewable energy is not only about infrastructure and technology, but also about integrity, discipline, and real impact,” said Roxana Gureanu, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Parapet.
The appointment comes amid record growth for the company: for 2026, Parapet has a contracted portfolio of over 1 GW in photovoltaic, wind, and BESS projects. In Romania, the company is carrying out projects this year totaling 410 MWh in storage and approximately 700 MW of installed capacity in photovoltaic and wind.
