Nyerges & Partners advised Jinko Power Technology Co., Ltd. on its entry into Romanian Market with Hybrid 50 MW PV and 150 MWh BESS project

Nyerges & Partners successfully advised Jinko Power Technology Co., Ltd., a leading global clean energy company, on its entry into the Romanian market through the acquisition of a 50 MW photovoltaic plant combined with a 150 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) in Olt.

The Ianca project marks a strategic milestone in Jinko Power’s Romanian expansion and reflects the company’s commitment to integrating advanced renewable energy and storage solutions, supporting Romania’s ongoing energy transition and attracting international investment.

The Nyerges & Partners legal team provided comprehensive support throughout the process, including legal due diligence, transaction structuring, and drafting and negotiating the transaction documents (SPA, DSA) and managing transaction closing.
