FAN Courier is entering the 2026 Black Friday season with a major investment programme focused on logistics infrastructure, automation and digital services. The company expects shipment volumes to increase by more than 10% compared to 2025, with daily processing potentially reaching 800,000 parcels, up from approximately 700,000 last year.
In 2026, FAN Courier allocated approximately €40 million to investments in logistics infrastructure, fleet modernisation, digitalisation and the expansion of its out-of-home delivery network. Its central hub in Ștefănești, Ilfov County, has a processing capacity exceeding two million parcels per day, providing additional operational flexibility during peak periods.
The company's mobile application has surpassed 2 million downloads following a comprehensive upgrade. It allows customers to track shipments, redirect parcels to FANbox lockers, pay delivery and cash-on-delivery fees online, generate shipments and returns, and extend parcel storage periods.
FAN Courier has also expanded its FANbox network to more than 3,500 lockers, with plans to exceed 5,000 units. The company aims to deliver at least 25% of its total parcel volume through this network, responding to growing consumer demand for flexible delivery options.
The 2026 investment programme also includes approximately €10 million for fleet modernisation, including electric vehicles, and €5 million for upgrading and improving the efficiency of logistics hubs.
Beyond traditional courier services, FAN Courier is strengthening its position as an integrated logistics provider, expanding its portfolio to include warehousing, fulfilment, customs clearance, air and sea freight, and international distribution.
These services are designed to support e-commerce retailers throughout the supply chain, from inventory management and order preparation to last-mile delivery, particularly during periods of high demand.
Internationally, FAN Courier operates directly in the Republic of Moldova and works with partners across Central and Eastern Europe and other European markets. The company is also evaluating expansion opportunities in Austria and Germany, including the development of additional international logistics hubs.
“Black Friday is not won when the campaign starts, but through everything you build beforehand,” says Adrian Mihai, CEO of FAN Courier, highlighting the importance of capacity, automation and digital solutions in supporting the continued growth of e-commerce.
With its latest investments, FAN Courier aims to strengthen its role as a strategic logistics partner for retailers and e-commerce businesses in Romania and across international markets.
