Stratos launches StratoScope, a SaaS platform for carbon footprint calculation and sustainability reporting

The new platform was developed in response to one of the most common difficulties companies face in these processes: data scattered across multiple sources, manual collection, files that are difficult to correlate, and a low level of traceability. In this context, preparing coherent, verifiable results that are easy to use in reporting or internal decision-making often becomes difficult to manage.

StratoScope is built around two modules that can be used together or separately. The first is dedicated to carbon footprint calculation and supports the collection, structuring, and calculation of emissions in line with the GHG Protocol, using emission factors from recognized databases such as DEFRA and EXIOBASE. The second is intended for sustainability reporting and helps companies organize the required information within a framework aligned with CSRD/ESRS requirements. The platform also includes AI functionalities for content structuring and generation, what-if scenario analyses for building decarbonization strategies, and an architecture developed with reference to standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 14064-1 and IFGICT.

According to the company, StratoScope’s differentiating factor lies in the fact that it was not designed as generic software, but was developed based on practical experience gained from real projects. As a result, the solution combines the digital component with the technical expertise required to correctly set up the process, especially in the early stages, when companies need to define the methodology, reporting boundaries, and data collection logic.

StratoScope is aimed both at companies that are subject to CSRD reporting obligations and at organizations that choose to calculate their carbon footprint or better structure their sustainability data in response to market requirements coming from business partners, investors, or financiers. The platform can also be used by public institutions and organizations that need a solid methodological basis for voluntary reporting or compliance.
