Nyerges & Partners advises Cristian Barbu and Future Power on the sale of three wind projects of 235 MW to OX2
Nyerges & Partners advised Cristian Barbu and Future Power on the sale to OX2 of a 235 MW wind projects portfolio. The three wind projects are located across Vaslui and Vrancea counties and will be commissioned during 2028 - 2030. The legal assistance covered all stages of the transaction, including advice on structuring the deal, support in drafting and negotiating all transaction documents (MoU, SPA, DSA), and closing activities.
The project team was led by Mihaela Nyerges (Managing Partner) and included Monica Cune-Ghițescu (Counsel), advising on real estate and urbanism matters, and Larisa-Alexandra Nicolae (Managing Associate), handling corporate-related matters.
Our team continues to advise Cristian Barbu and Future Power on the development of these projects and all Romanian investments, including developing and divesting a 600 MW portfolio of standalone BESS projects.
