This remarkable new project reaffirms Premier Hospitality’s position as a trusted independent hotel operator, recognized and certified by major international hotel chains. Radisson Blu Sinaia Cota 1400 combines a top-tier investment in an exceptional and unique location with the strength of a globally successful brand and professional management, key elements that will ensure the highest level of service for the most discerning guests.
With an estimated opening in July 2026, the project introduces a new benchmark for mountain hospitality in Romania, an integrated concept of luxury hotel, spa, and alpine lifestyle, designed for guests who seek both nature and refinement without compromise.
Radisson Blu Sinaia Cota 1400 is a mountain hotel located in one of Romania’s most iconic destinations, offering unparalleled views of the Bucegi Mountains. The hotel is housed in a historic monument building dating back to 1939, originally under the patronage of the Romanian Royal House. It is currently being reimagined through a refined fusion of tradition and modernity. Natural materials such as solid wood and stone, along with warm and welcoming color palettes, create a relaxing and inviting atmosphere — redefining the chalet experience into an oasis of balance and well-being inspired by alpine culture.
Upon opening, Radisson Blu Hotel Sinaia Cota 1400 will offer 68 rooms, including six junior suites and two presidential suites. Some rooms will feature spacious terraces, others balconies, all with views of the Bucegi Mountains. The hotel will include a lobby bar and lounge, a restaurant with heated outdoor terraces, conference facilities with panoramic outdoor terrace, a fitness center, and an indoor wellness area with swimming pool, hammam, Moroccan spa, sauna, and jacuzzi, as well as a heated outdoor pool.
The property will also feature an après-ski area, expected to become a major attraction during the winter season, along with ski-in/ski-out facilities and individual lockers for guest convenience.
The partnership with Radisson Hotel Group, one of the world’s largest hotel groups, with over 1,700 properties across 120 countries, places Sinaia firmly on the map of globally recognized luxury destinations. It responds to the growing demand for premium mountain tourism and further strengthens Romania’s position as an attractive destination for discerning travelers, both domestic and international.
Lucian Marinescu, Senior Partner at Premier Hospitality, shared his vision: “Romania needs luxury destinations like Radisson Blu Hotel Sinaia Cota 1400 to position itself on the global tourism map. Romanian tourists want and deserve the highest standards and services here at home. This iconic hotel represents a major challenge for us, and we are committed to delivering top-level management, backed by the team, expertise, and ambition to become the leading Romanian hotel operator.”
Octavian Moldovan, General Manager of Radisson Blu Sinaia Cota 1400, added: “We aim to become the most sought-after luxury mountain destination in Romania, across all seasons — whether for relaxation, well-being, skiing, hiking, gourmet experiences, or private and corporate events, both indoor and outdoor.”
