Radu Oniga is the new general manager of HORNBACH in Romania

Radu Oniga studied at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies. He worked as a buyer of non-food products in an international company. In 2006, he joined HORNBACH as a procurement employee (buyer) for the range of wood products, building materials and prefabs. In 2017, he took over the regional management of the e-business Department and, in this capacity, played a key role in driving the development of the online store in Romania and the digitalization of the business model.

Mugurel-Horia Rusu, whose career at HORNBACH began in Austria in 1996, contributed to the establishment of the branch in Romania. He managed the HORNBACH stores locally, the first being opened in Bucharest in 2007. Following the transfer of responsibility to Radu Oniga, Mugurel-Horia Rusu will continue to support the HORNBACH Group with his expertise as an advisor.
