The Polish LPP brand Sinsay to open in Colosseum Mall a new concept and the largest store in Romania

Sinsay, the Polish LPP brand signed with Colosseum Mall to open its flagship store in Bucharest, thus bringing an unique concept to the Romanian market. With a surface of 2000 sq m, the store from Colosseum Mall is going to be the largest LPP store in Romania, Sinsay branded. 

By signing the contract with Colosseum Mall, Sinsay opens in Bucharest the first store with the brand’s new concept.

Known as a loved brand for teenagers, starting 2019 Sinsay has expanded its customer portfolio by launching the IV concept that introduces collections of clothes and accessories for women, children and household items. Moreover, the expansion of the collections continued this year and Sinsay introduced a permanent collection for men. 

Sinsay new concept fits very well with the mix of tenants we have designed for Colosseum Mall. Our focus is on signing modern retail brands which are levelling up, being flexible enough to handle any market challenge.”, said Mihai Dinu, General Manager of Colosseum Mall.

Sinsay store in Colosseum Mall will offer Bucharest residents a different shopping experience, both through concept’s novelty and the store’s diversity.

We were aiming for quite a long time to open a new Sinsay store in Bucharest and we are very pleased to announce the partnership with Colosseum. By opening of our new store in Colosseum Mall, we will bring closer to our customers in the capital, the new Sinsay store concept, which will offer the new lines for women, men, kids and household items on a 2000 sq m area. Although the times we are passing are very unpredictable, the results of Sinsay are giving us a big impetus for the further expansion of the brand on the Romanian market.”, said Alina Bistreanu, General Director of LPP Romania.

The LPP Group owns 18 Sinsay stores in Romania, and by the end of 2020 the target is set to reach 20 stores. LPP has been operating on the local market since 2007, and currently owns 60 stores at the national level under all the 5 brands of the group - Reserved, Cropp, Mohito, House and Sinsay. At the international level, LPP owns 324 Sinsay stores in 17 countries, 67 being opened in 2019.

Colosseum is present on the Bucharest market for more than 8 years and hosts important brands such as Carrefour, Altex, Leroy Merlin, Jysk, Pepco, LC Waikiki, Sport Vision, but also other well-known brands, which offer a wide range of goods and services. Following the expansion of 16,500 sqm, Colosseum will reach of 54,500 sqm GLA.

The new area to be put into use is 85% leased by various and famous brands that operate in fashion, food and entertainment sectors, some of them already being released: Happy Cinema, CCC, New Yorker, Colin’s,Diverta, Noriel, DM Drogerie Markt, World Class, Gregory’s, Café Ritazza.

The investment budget allotted to Colosseum Mall reaches 30 Million Euros and consists of own sources and funding secured with Credit Europe Bank.

The land property of 60 ha on which Colosseum is expanding is part of Bucharest 1stDistrict, where the residential and retail sectors have been on an upward trend for several years now.

The launching of Colosseum Mall has been rescheduled for 2021, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
