Romanian Parliamentary elections will be held on December 11

The general Parliamentary elections will be held on December 11, according to a decision passed by the Government on Wednesday, the 31st of August.

The Government also approved additions to the electoral legislation, in order to facilitate the exercise of the right to vote for the Romanian citizens residing abroad.

According to the Government, an amendment envisages complete the list of polling stations abroad, thus, besides polling stations opened in embassies and other representatives such as consulates or consular sections, with the agreement of the authorities in that country, can be opened polling stations in other cities than the ones with established diplomatic missions or consular offices.
