Smart Retail - Implementing innovation to enhance customer journey

We are experiencing a fundamental change in shopping habits. The trend in retail development is moving away from closed traditional malls towards open and community involving formats, blending into neighbourhoods in modern urban developments. New concepts in successful shopping center projects should reflect the living, working and cultural aspects of target consumers. 

 

At this year’s Retail Real Estate Forum on the 17th of October, 2019 in Bucharest, we invite you to debate on the latest retail development strategies and learn about innovation in creating the right shopping environment.

Registration: Conference  participation fee is 79 € + VAT/ person.
The fee includes the participation in the conference sessions,  coffee breaks and lunch, as well as the conference proceedings documents. 
All registration fees mentioned above exclude 19% Romanian VAT.

Registration conditions: The program and the speakers are subject to change. Should the conference be cancelled due to force majeure, unavailability of the conference venue, speakers being prevented or for other good cause, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the conference. In case of cancellation all participants will be informed promptly. In this case, all registration fees will be reimbursed.

Payment: Payment can be made by bank transfer prior to the event. Please take into consideration the limited seats availability, therefore we recommend that registrations are made prior to the week of the event.

 Registration conditions: The program and the speakers are subject to change. Substitution and cancellation policy 

After registering for the Event, if you cancel your attendance more than one week prior to the date of the Event, you will receive a full refund of the amount of your payment. If you cancel within one weeks of the date of the Event, you will not be eligible for a refund; however, substitutions can be arranged with no extra cost from within a company or organization. No refunds for no shows. Cancellation requests must be received in writing.

The Conference Organizer will collect and store your personal datafor the preparation and execution of the conference as well as to inform you about future projects related to your sector and line of work. Maria Crăciun
Center Manager Veranda Mall

With a long experience in management, in various industries, Maria Crăciun joined the Veranda project from the beginning. As Center Manager, she coordinates and supervises all technical, operational, marketing and leasing activities, closely monitoring both the results of the team she manages and those of the mall. In a short time, she managed to turn Veranda into a well-anchored brand in the local community and to provide an example of a functional and successful proximity mall.

Roxana Dudau
Associated Partner, NOERR

Roxana Dudau heads the Real Estate & Energy Department of the Noerr Bucharest office. She is specialized in advising major foreign investors active in the field of retail and construction, as well as banks and major investors predominantly in the automotive sector in their Greenfield investments in Romania. Mrs. Dudau has a large experience in construction and real estate, especially in retail transactions, advising the firm’s clients on their market entry and expansion in Romania.

Ana-Maria Rădulescu
Key Account Manager – Retail&Hospitality, Signify CEE

Ana-Maria Rădulescu joined the Signify team in December 2018 as Key Account Manager and manages the Retail & Hospitality Signify CEE segment. Ana has a professional experience of over 10 years, during which time she worked in the sales departments of some telecommunications and IT&C companies, being responsible for large clients in areas such as retail, logistics, banking, energy and others.

Alexandru Bratu
Country Manager, JYSK

Since 2010, Alex Bratu has been the Country Manager for JYSK Romania and Bulgaria, part of JYSK Nordic, the Scandinavian furniture retailer. The company has rapidly expanded since he became responsible for all the activties that JYSK runs in Romania. From 12 stores in 2010, JYSK now operates 62 stores across Romania. The turnover grew from 60 to 363 million lei in 2017 and the number of employees grew from 100 to almost 800 employees. Before working for the Scandinavian retailer, Alex Bratu was the Commercial Manager for Instersport and he developed the Insterport franchise in Romania. He has a passion for retail, but also for music, and he thinks that music, like retail, is all about precision and numbers.

Frederic Lamy
CEO of Leroy Merlin Romania

Frederic Lamy, graduated from Essec Business School in France completed by an executive program in Harvard Business School, started his carreer in 1994 in Arthur Andersen in Paris office. He works in Adeo group since 2009 where he has been store manager, product manager, international project manager, CEO for Leroy Merlin in Turkey between 2011 and 2014. Mr. Lamy was appointed CEO of Leroy Merlin Romania in 2014, he has proceeded to the acquisition of Baumax company in Romania. In 3 years time, the company sales have been multiplicated by 15. Today Leroy Merlin is a 2500 employees company achieving more than 2,2 Bn rons sales in Romania with a network of 17 stores in the country. Frederic Lamy is also Board advisor at CCIFER (Franco-Romanian Chamber of Commerce), Economic counsellor for French government (CCEF) and has been President of the Fundation of the French School in Bucharest between 2015 and 2018.

Costin Blideanu
Head of Leasing Retail Division - AFI Europe Romania

Costin has more than 10 years experience in commercial real estate in Romania. Before joining AFI Europe Romania 7 years ago, he had been working as a senior retail consultant in Jones Lang Lasalle, one of the leading global real estate agencies. Costin holds a degree in International business and a masters degree in Strategic Marketing from The Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies and is fluent in English and French.

 

Dan Firoiu
Technical & Investment Manager - CCC Romania

Dan has more than 10 years experience in retail development in Romania. Before joining CCC, he had been working as a project manager or Architect designer for many Brands and has participated from different positions in the construction of over 200 stores in Romania.

Edvin Abdulachim
Director Comercial ALTEX România

Edvin Abdulachim coordinates from 2018 the sales activity of ALTEX Romania, organizing together with his team the activity related to the development of the network of ALTEX stores, respectively openings, redevelopments, rental contracts. 

 Passionate about technology, he graduated from the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest and developed his career combining the experience gained by increasing step by step in ALTEX between 2002 and 2009 as Retail Manager and Head of Sales at Samsung Electronics Romania between 2009 and 2018. Strong interpersonal skills, eloquent ability to convey complex ideas and a good sales instinct support accelerating the profitable growth of ALTEX Romania.

 

Daniel Furnica
Professional Services Director, Red Point Software Solutions

Daniel talks about the technological trends in the field of Retail Real Estate, about the best practices that big players in the industry at the global level have chosen to put into practice using SAP solutions. These allow a better proximity to the client, the automation of processes (be it maintenance or billing for example) and offer a modern decision-making framework, providing advance management tools.

Bogdan Patrascu
Leasing Specialist – CCC Romania

Bogdan is an expert in the legal field, with more than 10 years experience in commercial and civil law. His previous work involved collaborations with several local retail developers and investors. He became a member of the CCC Team in October 2018 and is now heavily involved in the expansion of the CCC Brand in Romania. Bogdan holds a degree in Law and is fluent in English.

Mihaela Petruescu
Head of Asset Services, Cushman & Wakefield Echinox

With more than 15 years of real estate experience, Mihaela is responsible for the Asset Services Department of Cushman & Wakefield Echinox. She manages retail and office projects with a rentable area of ​​over 230,000 square meters in Bucharest and other regional cities, including: Colosseum Bucharest, Tom Shopping Center Constanta, Orhideea Shopping Center, Suceava Shopping City and property management for 3 office buildings: Ethos House, One Victoriei Center, Eminescu Office, Penny Market Centers portfolio.

Nicolae Mogos
COO Smyk

Passionate about marketing, commerce and sport, Nicolae has 12 years of retail experience in different areas of the business. He is for 2 years part of one of the biggest retailers for kids in Europe, SMYK All for kids, managing the Operational Team in Romania. Previously, he has worked for 10 years in Decathlon Romania and France in different areas: commerce, operational, marketing and brand management.

Mihai Dinu
General Manager, Colloseum
Mihai Dinu is the General Manager of Colosseum, the most important shopping destination in North-West Bucharest. With vast experience gained in 20 years on the real estate market, Mihai is leading Colosseum for 8 years now. Previously, he worked directly for international property investors or through reputable real estate agencies like JLL Romania, managing and developing large portfolios including retail, office and industrial assets.
Currently, Mihai manages the expansion of Colosseum with a mall shopping concept which will open in 2020 including more than 60 international and local fashion brands, dining restaurants and fast food units, outdoor terraces, casino, fitness centre, leisure, playground areas for children, multiplex cinema and many more.
Razvan Atim
Head of Sales - Eastern Europe, UiPath

Razvan is one of the veterans at UiPath, having been here since 2007, a time when the company had only 10 employees. Working closely with UiPath’s CEO, Daniel Dines, Razvan has contributed to and experienced UiPath’s outstanding growth - driven by the undisputed customer-centric approach and a collaborative, humble company culture. 

In his current role as Head of Sales - Eastern Europe, Razvan is responsible for the growth and success of customers and partners in the region.

The 2019 Romanian Retail Real Estate Forum will be organized at the InterContinental Hotel in Bucharest.
