
The challenges of transport and distribution of electricity will be the focus of discussions at “Access to the Grid” Conference organized by Govnet Conferences.
Representatives of the national transmission and system operator Transelectrica and of the other regional grid operators and energy suppliers will have the opportunity to present in an interactive forum for discussion, the challenges and opportunities of developing national energy system, innovations and solutions for sustainable and safe operation.
There will be presented the new directions in the development and operation of electric power transmission and distribution networks, technologies and development trends, sustainability policies, connection solutions for new sources of energy, and an overview of the current situation of the energy system.

Registration conditions: The program and the speakers are subject to change. Should the conference be cancelled due to force majeure, unavailability of the conference venue, speakers being prevented or for other good cause, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the conference. In case of cancellation all participants will be informed promptly. In this case, all registration fees will be reimbursed.

Mr. Claudiu-Sorin Dumbraveanu is Vice President at the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) since 2012. Before getting to ANRE he was Manager at Electro-Alfa International. Between 2007 and 2008 he served as Project Manager for the Ministry of European Integration and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development

Mr. Toni TEAU was appointed in the position of Chief Executive Officer of Transelectrica SA on 11th May 2014 according to the Supervisory Board’s Decision. Previously Mr. Toni Teau held the position of Supervisory Board’s Chairman between 25.06.2013 – 10.05.2014. From April 2012 to April 2014 Mr. TEAU has held the positions of Director General and Administrator of Lasselsberger S.A. Bucharest and Sanex S.A. Cluj-Napoca. Mr. Toni TEAU graduated the University of Economic Studies, Faculty of Finance, Credit and Accounting (1987-1992) and in 2002 he got a Ph.D. in economics. Mr. TEAU holds professional titles of tax consultant, chartered accountant and financial auditor.

She started her career at IRE Botosani, company subordinated to the Industrial Plant of Electrical Networks from the Ministry of Energy; she worked as an engineer, then as Head of Investment Service and in 1991 she was the first woman technical director in the National Energetic System. Her career path was strongly related to the State sector until 2006, when she turned to the private sector, joining CEZ Group: she was Maintenance Director; she founded the Non-Technical Losses Department and became Risks Manager in Fantanele - Cogealac wind project. Between July 2009 and July 2014 she was Executive Director and Member of the Directorate in CEZ Distributie and from 1st of July 2014, she became the Chief Operating Officer of CEZ Group in Romania. The appointment of Mrs. Doina Vornicu in this position marks a milestone in the history of CEZ in Romania, given that it is the first time when the second most important strategic position in CEZ Group is occupied by a Romanian manager.

Ms. Silvia Vlasceanu is the General Director of the Romanian Energy Utilities Companies Association ACUE. She previously was counsellor in the Committee of Industry and Services within the Chamber of Deputies.

Mr. Dan Dragan is the Country Head of Repower in Romania since December 2007. Previously he was Development and portfolio manager at PetProd. He is a graduate of the Economics and Cybernetics Faculty within the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest.

The present position of Mr. Lungu is General Director of CEZ TRADE Romania. Dr. Ion Lungu was elected President of Association of Electricity Traders from Romania (AFEER) in 2006. His background includes: President of Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority - ANRE , Director General of ELECTRICA - the Electricity Distribution and Supply Company, and member in the National Electricity Company’s Board of Directors , Director of Supply Department of ELECTRICA

Mr. Dumitru Federenciuc is the technical director within the Strategy and Business Development Department of Electrica since 2012. Mr. Dumitru Federenciuc graduated from the Politehnica University “Gheorghe Asachi” Iasi (1976-1981)

Ciprian Glodeanu leads the firm's renewable energy practice group in Bucharest. He regularly advises both international and domestic developers of solar and wind farms and hydro projects on all phases to completion. In addition to his practice, Ciprian frequently lectures at international conferences on renewable and conventional energy and he is often quoted in various industry media outlets. Ciprian is also the founder and president of the Romanian Photovoltaic Industry Association which fosters a business environment for networking among local and international companies involved in the PV supply chain and regulatory authorities.

The present position of Ms. Cristina Micu is Key Account Manager CEE South at Alpiq RomIndustries a subsidiary of Alpiq Group in Romania. Dr. Cristina Micu has more than 21 years working experience in different energy bussiness fields including more than 10 years in technical energy field and +10 years in wholesale energy. From 2010 is member in Board of AFEER - The association of Electricity Suppliers in Romania.

Mihai Draghici is a Manager with the Advisory Services practice of EY in Romania. He holds a Ph. D. degree in Business Administration from the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies and Bachelor Degree in Economics from the Faculty of Commerce, The Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies. Mihai has a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from the International Association for Six Sigma Certification and has the ACA certification in progress at The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Mihai has significant experience in leading performance improvement projects for major companies in Romania and he is specialized in the energy sector.

Adrian Pavelescu is the Head of Corporate Development at Tinmar-Ind, in charge with shaping and designing the corporate strategy of the group. Previously he held the position of Renewables and Real Estate Director at Tinmar.

Anca Albu is a Manager with the Advisory Services practice of EY in Romania. She holds a Master degree in Management of Banking Systems from the Faculty of Finance, Insurance, Banking and Stock Exchange, Academy of Economic Studies Bucharest and a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the Faculty of Business Administration (In Foreign Languages), Academy of Economic Studies Bucharest and a Bachelor degree in International Business and Economics from the Faculty of International Business and Economics, Academy of Economic Studies Bucharest. Anca holds a PRINCE2 Practitioner Certification, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor Certification, LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and more. She is specialized in project management for IT systems implementation, business transformation, process analysis and design, data migration design and implementation with a focus on the energy sector.

Transelectrica is the Romanian Transmission and System Operator (TSO) which plays a key role in the Romanian electricity market. Romanian Photovoltaic Industry Association – RPIA was founded in March 2012 with the purpose to represent the interests of this fast growing industry, to raise its awareness and to create a proper development and networking environment for potential investors in the Romanian market.
