Waters Corporation, US based company present in 31 countries, opens a new software development center in Brasov

Waters Corporation, a US based specialty measurement company operating directly in 31 countries, officially opened its new Romanian Software Development Center in Brasov.

Romanian Software Development Center in Brasov is, by numbers, the number five operational site in the world for Waters.

For the new center were recruited more than 160 software engineers, project managers, product owners, software architects and support staff who develop and test software for the company’s analytical technologies used by scientific laboratories involved in life, materials and food sciences, Business Review reports.

The software engineers working for Waters in Brasov are skilled in the principles of Agile software development and the use of tools including C# to C++, Java, Linux, mobile and Amazon Web Services.
